USB Superdrive CD stuck?

I accidentally forgot to eject my CD before I disconnected the USB Superdrive from my Mac Book Air. Now he can no longer connect to my laptop because the CD is stuck in there… How do I get this CD out?

Look for a small hole (usually in the front of the cover), pierce it with something long and pointed.

There's some resistance. It is a mechanism that uses muscle power to push the CD out of the housing forwards.

You can do this with a sewing needle or simply a paper clip if you bend it into a straight wire.

If there's no hole; look for another hidden mechanism.

Unfortunately does not work.

Take 2 plastic cards (bank card etc.) and try to pull out the CD.

Too bad.

How much did that thing cost?

Luckily I got it out again.
