Hi
my sister needs a notebook for office applications. Is it worth the Intel® Core ™ i3-1005G1 processor (up to 3.4 GHz) or something stronger like an i5 Thank you 🙏
I3 is sufficient for Office, but i5 can't hurt either. Then the computer is not so bad for you. I'm not a fan of loading times, even if it's only 2 seconds
So i3 is already badly out of date, so you are very limited. I would at least take an i5, which are actually standard today. If the price fails then amd, they are now really good and much cheaper…
Outdated?
An i3 is a daring thing, it can quickly become uncomfortable in 2 or 3 years. Devices with Ryzen APUs are interesting here. They are quite fast, even suitable for smaller games and, with relative certainty, more sustainable than the I3.
I would recommend this one: https://www.mediamarkt.de/...76602.html
Windows 10 is included. He easily manages the desired tasks. The built-in AMD Ryzen 5 processor is comparable to an i5. Only with the difference that he has installed a more powerful graphics unit. In addition, AMD is cheaper than Intel.
Netflix is also available as an app in the Microsoft Store. So you can also look offline. Here is a small list of other apps that are available in the Microsoft Store:
Facebook
Instagram
Whatsapp
Amazon
ebay
Twitter
Tiktok
and many more. Just browse the Microsoft Store.
You should always use the apps if possible. The web browser only if there's no app. Unfortunately, YouTube is no longer available as a Windows 10 app. You have to use the web browser.
LibreOffice can also be used as an office package. This is free software and can also process Microsoft Office documents: https://de.libreoffice.org/...ffice.org/
