Which version of Word is it?
On a NEN stick and then on your new laptop
You can download the file on a USB stick and download it on the new notebook.
You have to reinstall the software on your new notebook. Emergency release from Microsoft again. Just say that you have a new notebook or a new hard drive.
First of all you should make sure which Office version you use. Depending on the version, there are slight differences.
If you use the annual subscription of Office 365, no real move is necessary. Here it is completely sufficient if you log in to the new PC with your Microsoft account.
If you have bought an Office version like Office 2013 or Office 2016, you will need the 25-digit key for the move.
1.Produce product key from Office
2.Office on uninstall on the old PC
Open the control panel and under "Programs" click on "Uninstall a program".
Search here in the list for the entry "Microsoft Office" and select it with the mouse.
Click on the button "Uninstall" above and follow the further steps.
3.Office on new PC move
Now install Microsoft Office on the new computer. Simply insert the Office CD into your computer. If this is not available, you can simply download Office.
If you bought the software directly from Microsoft, you can simply log in with your Microsoft account. The key is then no longer needed.
Depending on the Office version, Office is linked to your Windows account. Then you can just download it again on your new laptop.
