For the university I need a good laptop that runs smoothly with photoshop and Adobe Proframming. SD card would be great and large memory would be important. No, I don't want to pay too much for that thing.
It doesn't depend on the laptop, it depends on the laptop's operating system. The best way to do this is to use Windows, it works together with the programs.
Adobe programs is a very broad term. Do you want to animate? Cut videos? Layout? Working with vectors? Work with 3D? Etc.
Whether you want to use Photoshop or After Effects smoothly is a big difference in the requirements.
Yes sure? I thought they would rather work with Apple for development?
But no matter, Windows is more recommendable either way.
Can any Intel / AMD CPU. Should have enough memory. 16 GB.
That's how you mean it:-) Apple is by no means bad. To get exact information, go to an Apple forum. That's where the cracks for Apple sit.
That works with the programs.
I meant because you wrote that.
I always thought they were more attached to Apple than Windows. But I don't know for sure, hence the question.
No, Apple is not bad. But I'm not a fan.
Not for a long time, Adobe was adapted to Windows sometime 15 years ago, since everything has been running on Intel.
Ah okay. But didn't Apple also use Intel (until now apparently)? I'm not getting the reason
I don't know of any CPU that has a memory limit. The more RAM, the faster the data can be sent to the CPU. I have 32 GB myself, runs really great! Windows doesn't actually explain this per se, but it would take a long time to explain how you can still use it fully. Better go to hardware forums.
Thanks for the hint! I will mainly edit images, cut video, create models and also work with vectors. The 3D room should also work on the device. Uff xD
(I'm only interested in animation as a hobby, so it is not crucial.
I'll check out soon, thanks!
A current i5 or something comparable, video card with at least 2GB, rather more, RAM from 8 GB, better 16 GB. SD highly recommended.
Think about whether a stationary PC would be better, because Adobe programs come with a large number of palettes, so that a monitor usually appears very small. I therefore recommend planning in 2 monitors. The second could be very cheap, because you don't have to use a high-quality monitor for the pallets.
A used one does too.
Photoshop benefits from a fast computer - but especially from the RAM. So I would prefer a PC that is upgradeable. Then you could start with 8GB. The graphics card can be a bit older - middle class is sufficient for Photoshop.
However, if you mainly want to edit videos, then a top computer is recommended, otherwise rendering takes a lot of time. For DTP you get along well with a middle class system. Some of them here on Girlfriend are real professionals in assembling a PC and also name the sources of supply. So you could ask for help in this direction as well.
Apple devices are highly recommended - but all Adobe programs run just as well on Win computers.
All the best
I'll check out soon, thanks.
The entire cloud runs smoothly on my MacBook Pro, no crashes or the like.
I wouldn't recommend less than 16GB of RAM.
When it comes to rendering (regardless of whether it is video or 3D elements), the Windows computers usually had an advantage. You could forget that in complex scenes on the Mac.
