Replace laptop with Windows 7 (preinstalled)?

I just got my hands on a laptop with Win 7. The only thing I want is to put the laptop back in its original state. But I'm a total amateur for that matter, so I have no idea how that works. Do I have to be careful of any drivers, I need a DVD for that (eig. I wanted to download Win7 as an ISO file, because I have the product key, but there was that it will not work, because the Windows version was preinstalled). How should I do that?
