Blue Yeti x microphone not working (Linux)?

My microphone, the Blue Yeti x is not working.

My laptop has Ubuntu and I've already done everything like unplugging the cable and plugging it back in, checked whether something is muted, etc. And it just doesn't work. There's an indicator on the microphone that says the level should go up, but it doesn't, so I think it's the microphone. I tried another laptop (also with Ubuntu), it didn't work there either and I got the error code -9985. When I plug my headphones into the microphone, I can hear myself, but no sound comes through on the laptop.

I've had this before and it worked again the next day after I restarted the laptop, but now the problem has been there for over a week.

I would be very happy if someone can help me

Which Ubuntu version are you using?

Which device has it already worked on? The same with Ubuntu or one with Windows?

Problem could be that there's no driver for the microphone. Always check something beforehand!

How do you find out?

look via "lsusb" in the terminal, whether it is recognized at all. It's best to do it once with and once without a microphone, then you can see the difference.
With the help of the USB name you can then search for the driver.
Is it the case with all USB slots?
Check PulseAudio Volume Control to see if the microphone is listed as an input and not muted.
Is the microphone mute in all applications or only in certain applications?

Install Audacytie on your laptop. This is such a special software for recording with the microphone.

I have a laptop and I can't connect an external microphone or camera to it, it doesn't work. Just intern.
