I have a stereo headset but it just doesn't work with my laptop. At first I thought it was due to the headset, but it worked with all other devices. Does anyone know why that is.
On the sound setting in the laptop. It probably says something on MONO.
Do you mean a sound by stereo in general?
Then the laptop can either not recognize that there's something in the jack socket, or the settings are selected in such a way that the laptop speakers are always used as the standard playback device. Or the headphone output is muted.
To do this, you have to look at the settings under Settings / System / Sound.
Or do you mean that you hear the same thing on both speakers?
