Buy laptop or smartphone?

I (13) just save money. I do not have a laptop and my goto m3 is not really clear because it hangs more often and many apps are no longer running on it. Now my question. What's more worthwhile at my age: A new good smartphone or a laptop?

If you do not have a PC, I would first get a laptop in your place, you can also better use for homework. A smartphone is time consuming, can quickly break and be stolen. A newer used PC should also do it, it costs less and the PCs from three years ago are still good.
