200-300 euro is not really a lot, so the second-hand market might also be an option if it was an option for you.
Depending on what is currently installed in the laptop, exchanging the hard drive for an SSD and a little more RAM could help improve the user experience - and you have saved a lot of money for a new device

The question is whether a cheap full license is an option instead of a subscription model such as office 365, or do you need online access for office in order to save files online and edit them with colleagues?
