How can I record the meeting as a participant in the Zoom app?

You can only record the meeting yourself if the host of the meeting gives you permission to record it. If you have permission, you can record. In the settings you should then adjust where you want to save the recording, etc.

You have to register in Zoom.us and then on my profile and then on Settings. You should see under Meeting or something similar where it says Record.
