I've had this problem for several years. And thought that it wasn't so annoying. But unfortunately it is. In any case, I don't know what I've done, but on every PC or laptop my color settings are broken in the sense that the whole background in Excel is sometimes black or white and so the writing is covered and I always have to set a different color I can't read the things written in black / or vice versa. At the bottom of the picture I can see roughly what I mean on the white writing, for example, I have to put it on black so that I could read the things but what could be the reason? Or in the next picture I don't see what is specified there in the energy options. The same is with GuteQrage net I don't see what my question title is because everything is white only when I see the mark I see in?
Have you ever reinstalled Windows?
Don't hope that this is still Win 7.
No, this is Windows 10, I even tried resetting several times in the past, but nothing worked: /
The funny thing is that this problem is taken over on every new PC or laptop.: L
Probably because it is a setting that is constantly adopted by your Microsoft account.
Could possibly. Be the "High Contrast" setting. In Windows 8.1 this can be toggled with Left-Alt + Left-Shift + Print. Otherwise it can be found under Control Panel and Ease of Use.
It's definitely weird. Do you have a Microsoft account or certain programs that you always take over?
In fact, I've never seen it last before.
Not really, I mostly reinstall everything. Could it actually be a Microsoft setting, as mentioned below, that is always adopted? And I have a Microsoft account, yes.
Yes that could be. Do not have a Microsoft account myself, but it could be that certain settings are always transferred that cause this.
In your place I would also start in the safe mode and see if it is the same there.
So with me these attitudes are issued. So high contrast.
Do you know which one it could be?
Well then - I just had one idea. Then I can't help you either…
Do you have an idea who I (could) turn to if I can't find a solution. Maybe Microsoft Forum or something, right?
Ok anyway thanks.
I would try it first but write as much information as possible, not like here. Which hardware you use, which OS and which version etc.
OK thanks.
