The keyboard of my laptop is currently not working. In one moment it runs smoothly and then suddenly it stops. It is then only individual letters that do not work.
This afternoon I wrote a work order of 600 words without any problems. Then individual letters did not work later. Then everything was back to normal. Right now a lot of letters didn't work anymore.
What can that be and what can I do about it?
Check the connection: briefly remove the keyboard from the computer and then reconnect it. If the keyboard is connected via USB, use a different USB port.
Restart: Even a restart can do little miracles under Windows. This eliminates errors in the buffer.
Install driver: In many cases there's a driver problem. Uninstall and then reinstall the keyboard drivers.
Defect: If this does not help either, there's a high probability that the keyboard is defective. You may need to replace the device.
With me they were jammed, take them out with toothpicks.
Could be that the dust is underneath, just blow it out or put it on a chill and blow dry.
