Headset microphone too quiet, Windows10?

I have a Lioncast lx55 (jack) and it is far too quiet. I have set the level to 100 but has not changed, everything works on the cell phone (via discord) but when I switch to the laptop (1 jack plug for micro and sound) you can't hear me again. On discord I have already turned on the full volume, as has my interlocutor.

Just hold the mic closer to your mouth.
