I have a problem and my notebook doesn't have an HDD but only an SSD and it's 32GB. My hard drive is tight (only 273 MB free).
Can I change my network drive from e.g. So use Microsoft Cloud, Magenta or Mega.nz as a hard drive as the main hard drive, which the apps etc. Immediately load onto it?
For programs this is possible if you integrate them as a network drive.
But why don't you buy a new SSD for 25 euro.
I would not recommend it. You can buy a cheap 120 or 240GB SSD
Yes, they involved. And how does it continue?
Yes is too complex
Now install the programs and enter the network drive as the installation path.
But it will be a pretty slow affair
However, there are programs that do not accept this.
Again, 32GB SSD is really mega little, why don't you buy a new one… 32 GB are no longer usable these days.
What is involved in this?
Have "tidied up" my old Acer laptop, the first thing I bought was a 500GB SSD. Now he runs like d'Sau… ☺☻☺☻☺
That does not make sense.
Theoretically yes, practically not useful, because the internet line is a pretty bottleneck. Apart from that, you are when you don't have internet e.g. On the go or so then cut off from your apps.
I would either go to the trouble of installing a larger SSD. Things are not that expensive anymore, or just the files, especially videos, etc. You don't need to constantly outsource them to an external drive.
Thank you so much, helped me.
