I can't connect to the laptop with my laptop.

If I type in the password there's first "Connect…" after a few seconds there's then "No connection with this network possible"

But that comes since I reset my laptop.

Kh

Restart the laptop. That happens on Windows now and then.

Pr

Have him restarted, unfortunately, it does not work.

Kh

Hmmh. Have you been connected before and then suddenly not anymore?

Pr

I reset it and after that it did not work anymore.

gr

Did you also reinstall the WLAN driver after the reset?

Pr

Could you send me the link?

Pr

Or where do I do that?

gr

You can probably download the driver from the laptop manufacturer's website. Which manufacturer is that?

Pr

I do not have internet…

gr

Use your mobile.

Pr

I tried. It does not work

gr

What exactly did you try? Tell me what laptop you have, then I can give you the link to the driver.

You can then copy via USB cable from the phone to the laptop.

What do you call "set back"?

Was your laptop preinstalled and did you reset "factory defaults", or did you reinstall the Windows operating system?

The "Reset to factory settings" reinstalls the entire software - ie the operating system, all drivers and all apps. If you have only reinstalled Windows, you must then manually reinstall the drivers and apps again!

The drivers are device specific. Either these are given when you buy the device (CD or recovery partition) or you can download them on the Internet site of the device manufacturer under "Support" for free.

Windows is designed to allow Internet connection even if no device drivers have been installed yet. The "Network System Basic Driver" is part of the operating system. This should make it possible for the user to get into the net at all, in order to first install antivirus protection there and then search for its drivers. In this respect, your Internet connection should work in any case!

Already at the beginning of the Windows installation you will be asked at the beginning, if an Internet connection should be established now or if you want to "skip". If this question did not appear with you, something went wrong here.

Some devices also have a separate switch for the network card. BUT you should know, because your laptop is not new to you…

Help: Open the "Network and Sharing Center" / Click in the left sidebar on "Manage wireless networks" / Search your Wi-Fi network, right-click and select "Remove Network" in the context menu / Close all windows and wait until Your laptop has rediscovered the Wi-Fi network. Try connecting again.
