I installed a Toshiba Satellite with an "AMD High Definition Audio Device" and the best driver for it.
When I start my laptop, I have sound and everything is as usual, but as soon as I open a program, be it the Windows Explorer, Chrome or the Microsoft Store, I hear no sound as long as I do not restart it. And then everything starts again. Can you help me?
Have all drivers updated, reinstalled and everything in the device settings controlled.
The sound is finally there, just as long as I open something.
Do you have Windows 10?
Yes
Create a bootable USB stick with a Linux Live version.

The Mate version is the better one.
Instructions can be found in the link under Download -> Documentation ---> German how to create such a stick, with images even.
Boot the laptop with it.
If audio works properly there, that is the proof that the hardware is ok and the problem lies with Windows or the driver.
