Why is my Google Presentation always hanging?

At google docs i created a presentation i need tomorrow. However, it always hangs, so don't jump to the next slide, although I keep pressing and at some point it will work again. Can I do something about that?

It can't be because of my laptop, it's very new.

I also had the problem with LibreOffice Impress that it always hung.

But the program could update or install with a new version and then everything went again.

If you can't update, reinstalling it could still fix the problem.
