I sped up my laptop a bit today, it took 15 minutes to boot up and everything worked, reduced all applications in the system start and so on to a minimum and everything started up much faster, etc. I have advanced system care (viruses program) once and let everything clean. Then I updated all outdated drivers with Driver Booster, then I started a game and suddenly it lagged abnormally in-game which was not before. The old graphics card driver was upgraded from 2013 to the last update from 2018, and I also uninstalled a few things, but I'm not sure if there was anything decisive. My question now, what can I do so that it runs again as well as before? I let the driver booster run through once - no outdated drivers are found anymore - everything is up to date. Can I somehow find out what I have just uninstalled and is it really because of that or what do you think? I ask for help, thanks in advance
Please let this 3rd vendor be software. Win 10 does everything rdy for you so far.
But try the system restore, and then you take a point in time, if available, when the laptop is still OK. Was.
Installing an SSD could help.
Sometimes such free virus scanners, driver updates and, above all, "cleaners" are a bit overzealous. It may well be that you shot your laptop to pieces with it.
If in doubt, simply set up Windows again.
