Try pairing my laptop (Windows 10) with my LG TV. Have followed all the steps of the Youtube. Screen share is activated on the TV and in Windows Mebü click on "connect" in the bottom right corner. My TV is displayed, I select in, connection is established, but breaks off immediately.
Sometimes an error message appears: Connection successful, but I should check if my device is working and check the connections.

These functions are extremely unstable. You always have crashes. WiDi is not really mature yet.
Why do not you take an HDMI cable.
The smartphone works great! And without a cable, of course, would be nicer
