I bought a laptop (home office) and would like to connect it to my PC screen.
I did this with an HDMI cable, but I notice that I have a slight stuck when scrolling a PDF file on the screen or it does not run as smoothly as on the laptop.
the screen is a gamer's screen, because of which it can't be.

Can be due to the HDMI cable.
There are many different ones, such as with USB with USB 3.0 and 2.0, etc., so is the case with HDMI.
It is then probably because of the HDMI cable if the picture sometimes hangs. Or your CPU is simply too busy and can handle it more easily.
Check the hardware first, then try to change the cable if everything is OK with the hardware.
SearchBar at the bottom left, enter Task Manager and then click on the program. Then just look at what percentage of the CPU is being used.
By hanging, I meant that it was simply transmitted more slowly. So it's not as fast as on a laptop
