Buying a tablet in an environmentally conscious way?

I want to buy a tablet with a pen for school.

My parents want it to harm the environment as little as possible and that no people are treated badly. I don't think that's a bad idea in general.

Unfortunately, I don't find any fair tablets and refurbished, which is also good for the environment, they are often even more expensive than new.

Example: Samsung Galaxy Tab s6 lite: new: approx. From 250 euro, refurbished: approx. From 270 euro

Does anyone have an environmentally conscious and / or a social idea?

PS: By the way, Fairphone does not make tablets and Shift only has a tablet laptop which costs 1200 euro (too much).

Since I have a Tab S6 lite, I can advise against it, as there are no good note-taking programs for Android. Samsung Notes is rather bad and OneNote only has a third of the functionality on Android as it does on iPad OS and Windows.

I recommend you to buy a refurbished iPad Air from 2019, plus a new Apple Pencil (must be because of the non-replaceable battery!)

You can have a look at refurbed.de. Used electrical devices are reprocessed like new and you even have a guarantee

Have you looked at other note apps like Squid / Noteshelf?

Ha

Yes, they don't run well on the S6 life tab. More like a Tab S7, but an iPad Air is worth a lot more for the price.
