In May 2019, I got chatted into a tariff that I found a few months later that it didn't suit me.
It is the o2 Free L Boost tariff with 60GB for 39.99 euro per month. And now runs until May 2021. I have already terminated the contract so that I don't miss the deadline.
But since I use my cell phone as a hotspot for my laptop for university and for Netflix and Spotify etc., the 60GB a month are too scarce.
Therefore, I would like to switch to the Internet, i.e. Wi-Fi, and a cheaper tariff.
I have already spoken to Vodafone, since WLAN only seems to be enabled for Vodafone in my house, and they offered me monthly. For internet and mobile communications a total of 24.99 euro per month. The whole thing would only start in December.
Is there a way to get out of my current contract faster or get a smaller or cheaper tariff from o2?
I look forward to your experiences and tips.
You have to call O2 and that will probably cost money to drive the contract down. Upgrading is always, but down, difficult.
Nobody can tell you here, except o2 itself
Your contract also runs for a year, because they don't lure you with good offers
Would assume you will be charged at least one prepayment. Do you have to ask in detail but o2 if they offer something like that.
You can easily avoid that by not concluding 2-year contracts for mobile communications. I would not conclude anything other than monthly or quarterly cancellable.
There's no way to get out of the contract early because you can use everything in accordance with the contract.

No. You always have to adhere to the prescribed deadlines. You can only initiate the change earlier, but then you have to pay for both contracts by the end of the term.
