Xbox 360 worlds on Windows 10 world?

I have several Minecraft worlds from an Xbox 360, and they are in .bin format. Now I would like to use these worlds on my laptop in the Windows 10 version, and is there a converter or so that I can also use the world on my laptop?

A year ago I made a video about how you can convert worlds from old consoles to Bedrock.

If you do not understand something in the video or if you prefer to read, I have also written down written instructions in what feels like a novel length.

The following guide contains items that you may need to buy or borrow from someone, so this is only an offer, you don't necessarily have to do it. If you don't have something like that, you can see if a friend or family member has one of the things that you can borrow for converting your 360 world.

So that you can reliably convert your 360 world to Windows 10, you need the following things:

For everything together, an Xbox account with a live connection

• An Xbox 360 console

- Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition

- Xbox Live Gold subscription

• An Xbox One console

- Minecraft Xbox One Edition (game)

- Minecraft Bedrock Edition (game)

- Realm subscription in Minecraft Bedrock Edition

• A PC

- Minecraft Bedrock Edition (for Windows 10)

Unfortunately, the world can't be copied out from the Xbox One console as easily as it is on the 360. Strictly speaking, you can copy it out, as most videos show how the world is rather the other way around - i.e. Copied into the Xbox One, but it happens when copying out always that the world on mobile devices or Windows 10 PC are no longer the same (the world always changes to a reset state in which the seed changes from (example. "-19273729292" to "0") - no idea why that is always like that)

And you always need the same Xbox account. If you have made your Xbox 360 world with a local Xbox 360 account, have it converted to an Xbox Live account so that you can then convert the world from the 360 to the One, because you have to upload something online, which is not possible without an xbox account. - oh yes, speaking of xbox live: you need xbox live gold and a Realms subscription. Xbox live gold you can easily complete if you for example. 1 month ultimate holst, the first time only costs 1 euro, shouldn't be painful. The realm subscription is even free of charge in the first month and will only cost something in the following month. - if you subscribe to both, don't forget to add the recurring bill to your account on Microsoft.com so you don't accidentally pay for something you don't use at all.

If you have all of these things:

1: Upload your world from the 360 console in Minecraft 360 edition in the world selection

2: Download the world in the Xbox One Edition in the world selection again

3: Then start the newer Minecraft and go to "Select older worlds" in the world selection, the newer Minecraft then moves the world from the One edition to Bedrock and then converts it.

4: create a realm world and replace the converted world that is still stored on the console. Wait until the upload of the world is finished.

5: Now start Minecraft for Windows 10 and download the world from the realm server again.

(Alternatively, this also works on Android or IOS devices)

6: check the world if things are missing or if chunks are faulty.

Finished.

I personally find this method to be the best. However, you have to have everything that is listed above, 2 consoles, 3 different Minecraft games (or 4 if you include the PC version).

I also don't believe in online converters. I've tried quite a few, but all of them barely or not at all worked. Either they were out of date, there was a lack of chunks in the world or the converters were just scams to cheat consumers. So if you decide to use one of the online converters, please be careful that you do not come across any of the above points, especially the latter. Don't pay a single cent. Because it's not worth it.
