Laptop reset, now I can't come in?

I reset my laptop (MSI) yesterday, but now I can't get past Office 365. I don't want to buy the license and click "No", but nothing happens. I can only click the "Yes" option and then they want a credit card number from me (I don't even have one).

Can someone help me please?

Just uninstall Office?

As a rule, Windows does not simply install Office.

I can't uninstall it because I just wanted to set it up again and at that point it just won't let me go.

Usually a classic "reset" does not work properly.
I did a "short process" and installed WINDOWS 10 freshly, then Office 2019 (I even have a license) and activated it normally.

Then WINDOWS set up according to my wishes (about 1 evening work) and then created a reasonable image with external software.

If the PC has unsolvable problems, I have the option of being able to restore the backup using "Restore" and the PC then has the same status as that of the backup (Windows 10 and Office are and remain activated).

I have already done this on colleagues' PCs and it has always proven to be successful.

Would I get the license that I bought together with the PC reinstalled or would I have to buy a new one?

At the moment he tries to do automatic repairs and only problems arise.

Is it the right installer from the Microsoft homepage?
Normally he asks for a user account, did you log in with the correct one?

If WINDOWS (talk about WINDOWS 10) was on the computer and it was then activated from there, this activation is stored on the Microsoft server.
If you now reinstall WINDOWS 10, the first time you connect to the Internet, you will be asked to contact the Microsoft server. There the system recognizes that this PC is already registered and enables you the license again.
You may only have to enter the license key - but this is only the case for versions that were sold separately to the PC as an OEM.
These are then active.

Now I have the problem that the PC always tries to carry out automatic repairs and shows errors no matter how. The only option then is to just shut down the PC.

As I said, this will not help you anymore - reinstalling will be the final solution.

It worked.

Glad to use Tip. Back up important data "in between" outside of the PC / laptop - I use an external "small" hard drive. Because these are deleted when you "reinstall".
