I actually always plugged the power in my laptop at the desk. Is it harmful if the laptop is always connected to the power?
Depends on the built-in charge management. Some take it better than others.
Not good in the long run no
Got the Acer nitro 5
I would always unplug the charging cable at 100% and only plug it in again when the lamp lights up red at around 20%. What applies to cell phones also applies to laptops, since lithium-ion batteries are used in both cases. Permanent charging and complete discharging shortens the service life of the batteries considerably
Is it bad if I sometimes forget to unplug it while playing?
Yes, it will shorten the life of your battery
Simply remove the battery and you have practically a completely normal PC.
Not very easy with my laptop
You're right, I just googled it.
I consider such a case design to be bottomless outrage and at least immoral. : - @
