Network bridge, unidentified network?

Therefore I have in my room only one LAN port, (Powerline) but wants to bring my PC and a laptop to the Internet, I have taken a network bridge, I go with the LAN cable from the adapter directly into the LAN port of my motherboard, then I have an old network card installed and connected to the laptop. Then in the adapter options I have selected the two network cards and created a network bridge. After a few rum make it a few days ago then worked well, but today it is not, and I do not know how I can fix it now, I've tried a lot, but it did not work. On the laptop is when I have troubleshooting "" LAN connection has no valid IP configuration. " and the LAN icon at the bottom right says "Unidentified Network". It went well a few days ago, but not now.

Can anyone help me with that?

Have you set up the IP addresses between PC and laptop properly?

Why so complicated at all. Easier doe would be a Powerlanadapter with 2 Lan ports or even better, LAN and Wlan in Powerlanadapter.

Take a look, if the network bridge has not thrown out again when staking / re-infected and now has 2 LANs, where he for the notebook, of course, no valid IP Konfiguation and therefore complained. If necessary, make the bridge again. Network bridges under WIndows behave more often times weird, think about whether you do not spend again the few euro in a switch (gigabit is already under 15 euro) and you save the trouble.

You need in the case either on the PC a DHCP server that you can run, or you need to set a static ip address in the second network card in the pc. When laptop as well… The laptop must be in the last clock block from the pc.

or you buy for little money a switsch, which you put between the LAN cable and the laptop because then…

Thanks for the answer, which would probably have helped (sounds at least good xD), but I did that because I have NEN old laptop, which does not support 5Ghz Wlan, but only 2.4Ghz. Mine powerline adapter can indeed 2.5 and 5Ghz, but I thought you can't name the separated, so I only left it on 5Ghz, because my phone then like to go into the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi instead of the 5GHz, but I have found out that they can be named differently, which of course I have used right away, and everything went, thanks anyway for the answer
