Is the processor sufficient?

More than enough for office.

The processor is easily sufficient for surfing and for the office.

I have now checked times out of interest in the technology myself, 4 cores and 1GHz per core clock frequency, in "turbo mode" it is said to be 3.6 GHz. I would advise against the cpu, because the "turbo mode" may not work reliably, then the cpu bumps with 1ghz or switches to 3.6ghz only with difficulty. I would therefore rather say no, it should already have 2.8GHz (basic clock) per core for surfing & office and sufficient cooling for a laptop, presumably the device only has 1GHz basic clock precisely because the cooling is weak and otherwise device would overheat, if it were under constant load, the device would overheat if it was operating at a higher rate in "turbo mode". So I would rather not buy or only from a dealer who takes the device back and reimburses the purchase price if it is overheated or slow or even both.
