Microphone sounds very bright?

I have a headset from Logitech (I don't know the exact model, but it's not one that you can do anything with in Ghub). I have now switched from laptop to PC. I know that you have to connect extra microphones and speakers to the PC. The headset included an adapter which turns it into a 3.5mm plug 2. I plugged it in correctly, and I hear sound quite normally.

Unfortunately, when I talk about Discord (also with other programs) it sounds like I've inhaled helium (extremely bright voice). I didn't even install voices or anything.

does anyone know what you can do there?

(Operating system is Windows 10 Pro)

This is probably due to the sample rate changes in the sound settings (if possible).

Where can I do this?

In the sound settings. Google i don't know your headset. "Set headset name sample rate"

@ Gamer4214 That won't do anything!

Not correct! It does something. https://sendegate.de/t/stimme-klingt-erhoeht-wie-helium/9927

here is an example and in some cases it worked.

It's not about a bright frequency response. Then it could be due to the microphone itself (e.g. Cheap microphone), but if someone sounds like helium, then there's usually another reason.
