When writing on the laptop jumps to another line - how to prevent?

If I write something then jumps the "flashing cursor" or as that always means on ne other part of the text. This is annoying. How can I stop this?

You probably have a touchpad active, and also the function "tap" as mouse button triggering. You tap and come with the palm of your hand on the pad, and that puts the cursor. ALso turn off the "touch" with the touchpad.

Then the palm detection of your touchpad is no good. It is best to turn off the touchpad while typing using the provided keyboard shortcut.

Disable touchpad and write normally.

connect external keyboard via usb and use that.
