Hi, I have a Dell laptop with Windows 10
I've had it for 4 years now, it's still going great, only what always upsets me when I watch a movie or play an online game that the Wi-Fi is suddenly gone.
Instead of the internet sign, there's a small globe with a cross as a sign that there's no connection to the internet.
I'm getting annoyed now because I can't fix the problem. Can you help me? Thank you.
BTW The problem is only with my laptop, it does not happen with the other devices in the house: /
And as I said it just jumps out after 2-3 hours and then has to restart the laptop
Try removing the network and adding it again.
Possibly a new one. If that doesn't help, have a look at your router. Had a similar problem and the problem was that no IP addresses were free and so another device got the IP again and again.
Yep, I've already tried that, it doesn't work.
Hm ok I'll try thanks

Yes what now: In the title question you speak of "Internet out" in the test of "WLAN away".
You should be able to keep this apart meticulously if you want a solution.
Then the Internet
To me, that also sounds like no IP is free anymore. What kind of router are you using?
Please report a malfunction to your provider.
You can do nothing - maybe except for a router replacement.
Only without a line test, I wouldn't swap anything.
There's no "Network" item in the device manager that could be deleted. 😉
Doesn't make sense for internet problems - as the questioner has now defined.
That is in contradiction to another statement - but yes mei… 🤷♂️
Which also fits with the note that he has a "cross on the small globe".
In view of which version of Windows the symbol of the globe is still used, it may not be so stupid if this device does not have Internet access. (Tüdelü…)
Fritz Box, if you mean that
