I like to use my USB PC receiver for recording. It's actually going great too.
Since I have a splitter, I sometimes watch several channels at the same time. (2)
The day before yesterday it happened again:
After 45 minutes, the picture simply stopped at the PC receiver (tower). For no reason. I just don't understand what the problem is. It doesn't matter to the receiver whether I'm watching 1 or 2 programs at the same time.
The highlight is, if I only look over the PC receiver (tower) everything works fine. Without problems.
At first I thought it was my TV. That he somehow needs too much signal or something. Well, I still had my old PC receiver and the laptop. So only looked at the same time with the help of 2 PC receivers. 1 on the tower, the other on the laptop.
It actually went without any problems recently. But the day before yesterday the problem with the tower PC receiver came up again.
So. What could that be. I would like to continue to watch several channels at the same time without worrying that the recording will break off due to the image remaining still.
Small info: it is not possible to change the receiver, because the old one causes a blue screen on the tower PC. (Driver problems)
What is a USB PC Receiver that receives via satellite?
If so, then with a single-cable solution and a splitter, only transmitters from one level can be received at the same time.
So a PC receiver is actually the same as a normal satellite receiver. You connect it to the socket via satellite cable. And via USB cable to the PC (USB 2.0). He gets power via the supplied power cable.
I know that with the 2 SD or HD channels at the same time. At the moment I tend to use HD at the same time.
I have the following satellite PC receivers. I have the TT Connect S2-4600 from Technisat on my laptop. (Win 8)
And I have the USB PC Receiver from DVB Sky on the tower PC. (Win 10)
In addition:
There are no stockers or signal errors. The picture would then continue to run without any problems. The error only occurs when watching 2 channels at the same time. So there must be a problem every now and then when 2 devices share the signal. It can't really be due to the splinter. I've had it for years. Goes without any problems. The transmitter on the laptop continues to run normally without a stocker or something if the image stops at the tower. I just don't understand why and where this error comes from.
The trick is also: stupidly, the problem only occurs when I record a program. If I just watch 2 channels at the same time, everything is fine.
And: The problem came with my old receiver. At first I had it on a socket along with a small refrigerator. That was probably the problem. So repositioned. Then it went great. So can that also be an unevenness in the power grid.
I can't unplug all devices every time I record.
This has nothing to do with SD and HD, but rather that it is broadcast over 4 levels via satellite
Quadruple satellite signal
This creates a total of four sub-areas, namely low band vertical, low band horizontal, high band vertical and high band horizontal. These sub-areas are referred to as IF levels. Separate programs are transmitted in each of the four ZF levels
If you want to use transmitters on different levels at the same time via a single cable solution, the picture remains black with a receiver
