I would like to tailor a video of You Tube for my school presentation, but unfortunately I do not know how. Could you recommend an app for free download / download (for the laptop)? And tell me how to cut a video from You Tube? Do not know me so well in the matter.
I use Shotcut.
Here you can download it: https://shotcut.org/download/
And here's how the program works: https://shotcut.org/howtos/getting-started/Erste_Schritte_mit_Shotcut.pdf
So I use jdownloader for video downloads, that works great. Can download from various sites, including audio, images and other file types.
Has also for thousands of pages plugins, so that your date directly get the right name, you can log in or select the quality.
You can cut it with windows movie maker if that is installed with you. That's enough and then you do not have to install anything extra.
Otherwise I would use shotcut, that's free and should be enough for your purposes. Of course, no premiere pro, but for a bit of editing completely sufficient.
For the entry the Movie Maker (2012) is well suited.
Download z. For example: https://www.netzwelt.de/...enlos.html
Here is a guide from the previous version, the Live Movie Maker, which can be essentially transferred to the current version MM 2012:
Deviating from this example, I advise
to insert the video sections via "Add video and photos".
The aspect ratio 16: 9 or 4: 3 via menu bar: "Project" to select.
The order of the video sections can be made on the right of the "unrolled Fimrolle" by moving to the right or left as desired
The video is saved via "Save movie> Recommended for this project…"
In the event that you want to rework, save the project as well.
For post-production, the original videos or photos must not have been deleted or moved.
