Can I trust this offer (Amazon)?

I discovered an offer on Amazon (laptop) that is very low compared to the original price. You can choose between different system properties. There's only the option to buy the goods used. If you visit the seller's profile, it says that you should contact him externally via an email address. It doesn't say why. If you put the goods in the shopping cart and confirm the purchase, he will cancel it (according to a review). He replied to my email request; He wants my address, full name and my phone number and says he will do the order through Amazon if interested in buying. How does the Lord imagine that? He has not yet mentioned a payment method. I'm still waiting for his answer. If the payment process goes through Amazon, in theory I get a refund in the event of fraud, right?
can he even place an order through Amazon with just my name, address, and phone number, making it an OFFICIAL transaction that will take effect from customer support? Does anyone know anything about it? Somehow I don't trust the whole thing.

Don't do it! Unfortunately, these are the current scams on Amazon. You will e.g. Urged to process the deal outside of Amazon and pay and your money is gone - of course without Amazon securing it.

Too cheap offers on Amazon must make you skeptical!

I would generally never buy from 3rd vendors on Amazon.

This usually works without problems and is often a whole corner cheaper than Amazon. But you should be careful, if you suddenly save supposedly 50% compared to an average normal price, you have to listen carefully…
