I have a single hdd installed in my laptop. I need a lot of memory on the laptop and I can't grow too expensive 1tb ssd. But there are adapters, both the cd drive with a hard drive can be swapped (because the drive is connected via sata 3.0 Now my question is whether the sata connection of the cd drive has the same speed of the hdd connection.
Why can't you afford this?
SSDs meanwhile cost barely more than normal hard drives
The price is more than three times a normal disk. That's not worth it for me. A 120gb ssd only with windows would be wiser
Yes that's enough.
HDDs do not need a SATA 3. Since the HDDs (especially 2.5 ") anyway hardly create more than 100 MB / s transfer.
So it does not matter if SATA 2 or 3
