I would like to know if I can play large mod packs in Minecraft smoothly (at least 30 FPS) with the laptop with the following components.
The (most important) components are:
AMD Ryzen 4500U (not 3500U, the 4000s are the new ones from AMD)
Radeon Vega 6 (renoir)
512 GB SSD
16 GB RAM (3200Hz)
if anything else is important for the assessment, feel free to ask.
The cpu is at the level of an i5 2500k (desktop) so don't think so. Vega 6 on the laptop is also nothing…
I can only recommend a PC.
Comparing a stone desktop CPU (EoL for over 7 years) with a new mobile processor is just a joke.
I don't really know the graphics now and I don't really know anything about Minecraft either. However, the graphics card is already very thin, so you could already be limited. What belongs in a computer with an AMD-APU is RAM in the dual channel, otherwise a lot of performance is lost.
Is the graphics card important for mods?
