I urgently need a new laptop before the semester starts because my old one has crashed and my lectures, projects and exams are 100% online. Unfortunately, I'm not at all familiar with technology and my budget is also sparse.
Which laptop is best for studying online full-time?
I study media and communication management, have to submit portfolios, take regular online exams, write term papers and also edit pictures and videos. All of that should be fine with the new laptop. I would ask for suggestions that are not too expensive, but quality comes first.
A laptop in the range of 600 to 1000 euro should be enough.
i5 processor should be enough if you don't do anything else.
Take a look at Amazon or cheaper notebooks.
What is your budget
Study too and have a convertible. In my opinion the best for studying, because you can take handwritten notes, etc. Without an additional tablet or without wasting paper. I think it would be particularly interesting for your degree program if you use Photoshop or the like.
If it can go into the "higher three-digit range", I can recommend the HP Envy x360 series. Best laptop I've had. Available from around 850 euro

If I would not recommend it for your purposes, it would be better to use a more expensive one (= more powerful) if you are going to do a lot of video editing, etc.
