I have a Star Craft 2 on my PC and I want to have it on my laptop without having to download it again. With Android I know how to copy the .obb and then install the app via apk.
But is that also possible with Windows? If yes how?
As far as I know that's not possible.
You can copy over the entire game directory. Most of the time that's enough for games. And the directory with the savegames.
Not sure what Battle.net is like
but usually you can just copy the whole folder onto a USB stick, external hard drive etc.
Then start the download in Battle.net on the new PC and stop after a minute.
Now simply copy the data from the external hard drive or the USB stick into the folder that was created by the download.
Battle.net will normally recognize the data automatically.
It works surprisingly well
This is a very good idea, thanks 😉
Once you've installed Battlenet, copy SC to the folder where Battlenet would install the game. Then it recognizes that the game is installed.
