I've just started up my laptop and in the top left corner are colored pixels (purple / pink, over green, to black). They form a kind of semicircle: Does this info help at all? 😅 and no matter which program I open (Word, Browser, Minecraft or Desktop), they do not disappear!
How can I fix this, as cheaply as possible?
Maybe you can upload a screenshot or a photo with your mobile phone
Will appear on my profile immediately! 🤗
Are they also visible in the BIOS?
Could be the graphics card, which is equal to a total loss. Possibly. Is it just the panel that can be found with the model name of the laptop on eBay and someone with some idea of technology plus youtube tutorial exchange.
Disk to be broken.
Something has pressed too hard.
With luck, this will be back in 1 day.
Otherwise, carefully pull with a suction cup at the point and see if it gets better.
Err? I'm very sorry, but I do not quite know what that is! 😅
Could be a pixel error. Then you would have to ask the dealer, where you bought the laptop, if the device can be exchanged on goodwill or the manufacturer a free exchange of the display is possible (If you want to get away as cheap as possible.).
There you set the basic values of the notebook before Windows starts.
Mostly you can get in there with Esc, F1, F2 or Del key. That's what you do before Windows starts. So almost immediately after turning on the notebook quite often press the buttons.
Otherwise, on YT watch a video on how to get into the BIOS, that's better than 1000 words here.
Sometimes you can "massage away" the mistake
That's probably a water damage.
You just do not write that.
New display. 200 Euro, if there's not yet got the board something.
Water damage, total loss.
And believe me, I know my way around.
I love to believe you, but the laptop has never come in contact with water! It was never in the bathroom or in the kitchen and when I used it, all the bottles were locked!
As remote diagnostics are the symtons for water.
Colorful pictures make a display even when it is pressed.
