Reinstall Win 10 on SanDisk Ultra 3D SSD?

I've been trying to reinstall Windows 10 on my new SanDisk Ultra 3D SSD for some time now.
Motherboard is the ASRock B85M Pro4
The installation succeeds in UEFI mode with Secure Boot enabled. Subsequently, the SSD also appears in the BIOS, but not as a bootable device. Of course I have already tried a lot. In normal Legay mode, the SSD can't be chosen as the installation medium and consequently Windows can't be installed.
Today I first tried it on my ThinkPad x230 (Generation IvyBridge). Here it comes to exactly the same problem.
Furthermore, I have tried both from the USB stick, as well as a newly burned CD to install, each UEFI and Legacy Mode.
All other devices were disconnected during and after installation.
I've also tried to convert the disk partitioning on Windows from GPT to MBR (although, as far as I know, Windows automatically chooses GPT when installing the SSD as the installation medium). Even without success.

Does anyone have another idea out there how to solve the problem? I've probably already read about doing an installation on a different medium and cloning on the SSD. To be honest, that's too stupid for me, rather I'll send the SSD back and try a different model.

Already tried during the Windows installation to load a driver for the SSD?

No, I have not tried that, I've also read a few times, but I have not become very smart. In what form would Windows have the driver then during the installation? As INF file or is the .exe? Unfortunately, Lenovo provides the recommended driver only as .exe, and on the Intel side, the exact version is not available for download. Can one then simply load the latest Intel RST driver from this page (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/de/download/29094/Intel-Rapid-Storage-Technology-Intel-RST-User-Interface-and-Driver) and unpack it, push it on the stick and install it in the installation under "load drivers" with?

Yes, that's the way I would do it.

So.
I have several versions of the website loaded on a stick. The only version that had to be installed was the oldest, which has only support up to Win 8. Now I have reinstalled Windows on the SSD with this driver. The disk is still not bootable. Then I have a BIOS update running. Unfortunately, no change. I'm going to talk to SanDisk support tomorrow.
