Home office only has advantages for me?

I'm attending a federal college. Since Corona, I've been sitting in front of my laptop in my room for a little more than half a year, doing tasks or in meetings.

Most of the people in my school absolutely hate homeschooling. I can understand that, for some it can be difficult to concentrate at home, or simply to learn for yourself, whatever, there are many reasons…

From my point of view, home office really only has advantages for me. I save 2 hours a day on public transport and get more sleep in the morning, instead of 5:30 I only have to get up at 7:30.

Even though I'm in high school, I get homework almost every day, and it has grown a lot since the pandemic. I tell you, I sometimes sit at them until midnight (if I didn't do them right away, then I would be like most - it builds up, and at some point you have to do an incredible amount). But I don't even get feedback for doing homework at school, it's been different since homeschooling. For months now, I've been getting very individual feedback for everything, since the teachers usually only have a few sources of grades. But as I said, in normal school life I sit at them for the same time, but the teachers don't even look at them, it just depends, if at all, on whether they were done or not.

Well, I'm an introvert, but I've never had any problems with going to school, I see it for better or for worse as the little evil that I have to get out so early every day and then also work in class lol. (So I like going to school, even if I don't like doing something actively in class)

I absolutely do not miss the social contact, on the contrary, I'm so much happier.

My grades are almost the same, have improved a bit, from 1.4 average to 1.2, but when I heard that school was going to open again after the semester break, my heart felt heavy.

I now feel so comfortable in the home office that I just don't want to go back - does anyone have tips for motivation or is someone the same?

I can only confirm that. I spent half of my professional training in the home office and I have to say that I really enjoyed being so flexible with my time. You just have to be consistent. If you can't do that, the home office is not right for the person. My grades have also improved marginally and I have also turned the nights into days out of pure motivation.
