Update Older Laptop on Windows 10 1903?

I have as a second laptop an older computer with a very early Windows 10 version, which I would like to update to Windows 10 1903. However, this is not possible: If I import the update via MCT, everything runs fine, but after a restart the PC with the error "During the phase" BEGIN_FIRST_BOOT "an error has occurred" is reset to the old version. Does somebody has any idea?
