Have a Samsung Series 4 5 without Wi-Fi connection as a second device. USB and HDMI connections only.

Unfortunately can't receive all channels. No ARD ZDF and free channels. Arte and 3sat only with a lot of interference. Is there a way to still receive more channels via Wi-Fi via PC or laptop?

Huh? So if you can only receive tv over the internet - then you need a receiver that can do the internet. There are usually when you order with (e.g. From telekom or vodafone etc)

otherwise tv reception usually works via cable or satellite. You should have a round socket on the back of the device and the counterpart in the apartment

How do you look with your main device and your second device so far?

Cable, satellite?

Otherwise there's also IP TV (e.g. Telekom) or terrestrial TV via antenna.

With a Chromecast or similar, you can stream the content from your smartphone to your TV. All public channels are free. The private costs, providers would be bpsw. Zattoo etc.

Or you can connect your TV to your PC via HDMI cable and watch TV.

All public channels have free live streams and media libraries, as mentioned earlier.

(With the keys "Windows" + "P" you can set your two screens on the PC)

I get all the channels on the main unit. We put a cable from the main socket into the bedroom. After Unitymedia has repaired the distributor, we only have the regional channels in the bedroom as a reception.

A neighbor said that since we only reported four connections in the house, it could be that the fifth connection can't transmit all transmitters.

Did you want internet television via laptop or PC via e.g. Try Zatoo.

The TV signal is present, no matter how many sockets on one strand. (If, for example, the bedroom is connected to the main socket)

The connection between the main socket and the bedroom could be faulty, a badly shielded cable might be used, damaged or the connections bad.

A digital cable receiver is also required if it is not already installed in your second device. The signal was changed from analog to digital. Today's TVs have already installed the tuners.

Otherwise, the TV content could be streamed to your TV using the Horizon app.

I have it at Sony! Menu shows wonderful signal and connected to router, but still have no picture!

The problem is only since Unitymedia repaired the distributor. We had a better cable when we bought the TV. I can receive WDR in HD. Sometimes ARD is analog or HD. The idea with the Horizon APP is not bad. That would be approx. Every month. 10 €. At Zatoo I have to connect via PC or laptop and leave both on.
