After I updated my laptop to windows 10, I no longer see any Wi-Fi networks. (see image)
what can you do there?
So you have three mistakes that you work through from top to bottom.
1, Problems with the wireless adapter (Wi-Fi stick) or access point. (Router)
Means either you have no Wi-Fi at most PC, you have to either plug in a Wi-Fi stick or install a Wi-Fi card.
Or. Wi-Fi is switched off on the router
Or you have a laptop that should have a Wi-Fi card. Is the broken but you have the same problem
2, A network cable is not connected properly or may be defective.
Or not at all, but he can't see that there
3, the Ethernet (LAN) adapter is deactivated.
You can read it here.
Turn on.
Uninstall the driver and restart the computer. Provided Wi-Fi is activated.
Ok and how does that work?
The WLAN is off. You have to click on the Wi-Fi button in the window at the bottom left. It has to be blue instead of dark gray.
It does not work. When I switch on the wireless connection, it says briefly that it is switched on, but it switches off again immediately.
Renew driver.
And like someone said Avira down.
Some notebooks (e.g. Fujitsu-Siemens, Lenovo / IBM) have a real hardware switch for the WLAN. Is that also the case with your notebook and is it also switched on?
Other notebooks that switch this using a keyboard combination (FN-F5 or similar) often need a special keyboard driver that makes this possible. Please also have a look at the manufacturer's download pages.
