So scenario:
FritzBox 7490 is connected to the Dsl
Fritzbox by Lan 1 at the 7390th
Fritzbox 7490 has the network 192.168.178.1
Fritz box 7390 has the net 192.168.0.1
The printer hangs in net 192.168.178.1 and has the fixed ip 192.168.178.30
The printer should be accessible from both networks, but the networks must be kept separate. Port forwarding? Forwarding? What and how do I do that?
(Networks are separated because independently, network 1 is privately wlan etc net 2 is for the company and has no Wlan etc only lan)
But only have a printer so the question how do I adjust the port sharing of fritzboxen… Can anyone give a stitch guide would be great
Existing components:
https://www.amazon.de/...00GWKN1Q2/ managet switch and Fritz box 7390 u 7490 as well as a laptop a mobile phone and a company pc as well as the printer of the lan and wlan but unfortunately can't connect with 2 networks at the same time (printer Brother MFC 3770)
Fritzbox offers VPN. OpenVPN
Which networks you forgive is important:
192.168.178.1
192.168.0.1
Both networks must also get the subnet 255.255.0.0! This is important for them to see each other.
Then you have to set up on a Fritzbx OpenVPN (existing menu item). Give a Fritz box a static IP or a dynamic DNS name (Public). Then connect the 2nd Fritzbox per permanent VPN with the other.
Then the 2 Fritz boxes are connected and the networks you can see each other.
However, I do not want you to know each other's networks. There are currently the networks 192.168.100.1 and 192.168.178.1 subnets each 255.255.255.0
I also want to eat in the McDonalds every day, but at the same time get a six-pack without sports.
Either you connect the networks, with VPN as told by me, then the networks can reach each other.
255.255.255.0 Networks are connected, traffic for the other network, but always goes to the Internet, never via the VPN connection.
255.255.0.0 Inquiries go to the VPN, but the networks see themselves too.
