Laptop no longer finds networks, what can I do?

I have closed all background programs on my laptop and since then the connection to the WLAN has stopped working. I can't view networks and the troubleshooter didn't work. What have I done there and how can I undo it?

Si

Restarted?

Ai

Yes, that was unfortunately unsuccessful

Ke

Turn flight mode off

By closing, you have probably also finished your network discovery / readout

At the beginning you could try a restart. If that does not work, I would reset various network settings.

Open the command prompt (cmd) as administrator (right click => Run as administrator) and execute the following commands:

netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset
ipconfig / release
ipconfig / renew
ipconfig / flushdns
netcfg -d

Enter a command, confirm with the Enter key, enter the next command, confirm again with Enter, etc.

Then restart your laptop.

Airplane mode does not turn on or off, my top row of keyboards also no longer works (i.e. All the F1, F2 keys etc.) even if I hold down Fn.

Ai

Thank you very much, but unfortunately that didn't solve my problem either. The error messages came that no operation can be carried out on Ethernet as long as its medium is not connected. The same applies to the bluethooth network connection

It is normal that there are sometimes error messages. So you followed all the commands and then restarted your laptop?

Ai

Yes exactly. I tried it several times, then once I closed the window and otherwise I left it open, but still nothing happened

Ai

The problem has been resolved, it was due to the system start choice. This was not the normal one, but a custom one.
Still a thousand thanks for your help. That was my matrix moment today.
