I was unable to use my laptop for a long time because my charging cable did not work. Now I can use it again but now the thing shows me no more Wi-Fi networks! I have already looked in the settings but found nothing and the troubleshooting did not work either. I tried mobile data on my smartphone and it was shown to me. I have to do two Windows updates and I need Internet…
Check if your Wi-Fi router only sends the 5 GHz ac standard. Your laptop may not be able to meet the ac standard.
Never choose exotic WLAN channels (12, 13, 14), some US devices can't use these channels.
Also, the upper channels for 5 GHz WLAN (52, 56, 60, 64, …) can't be received by some devices.
Good 36 GHz ac channels (without DFS) are channels 36, 40, 44 and 48.
Good 2.4 GHz (overlap-free) n channels are 1, 6 and 11 (do not select intermediate channels!)
