New PC no longer finds 5 GHz Wi-Fi? But cell phone & laptop?

I'm just desperate and now I'm writing my question in here.

I'm currently using a PC with a Wi-Fi stick. I have now put together a new PC. Before that, my PC with the stick worked fine. I have a router with 2.4 & 5 GHZ. I'm using 5GHZ and would like to connect to it again…

The problem now is that I can no longer find the 5 Ghz network. My other laptops as well as cell phones find it easily.

On the Fritzbox website I have already set the right channels (from 36 etc) and also set the SSID differently.

(Different names of the radio networks at 2.4 and 5 GHz

Name of the WLAN radio network visible ---- I have already set or activated it)

on my old PC I had Windows 10 Professional and now "just" home but I don't know if it makes a difference.

I also had "realtek usb wireless lan utility", but that no longer works…

Maybe someone had the same problem and can help me here.

I thank you in advance!

Try with 2.4 GHz if that works at all.

Pi

It usually does, but I never use it because it fluctuates extremely and has a high ping.

You must also note that 5 GHz has a much shorter range than 2.4 GHz, but of course faster.

If it is the same WLAN stick, try whether all cables are seated. Otherwise, check your settings to see if 5g is off.

Which WLAN interface does the PC use? (int. Or ext. (e.g. Stick; if which one?)?)

Pi

The distance to the router has remained exactly the same. All my other devices still find it.

Pi

I use an agedate Wi-Fi stick.

went smoothly with the old pc

I currently find my Wi-Fi (only 2.4ghz) & other networks but only not the 5Ghz… Settings are on, since all other devices find this too
