I have the following challenge: I have a label printer, but I would ideally like to supply it with print jobs from two notebooks. To make matters worse, I do not have Wi-Fi on site and the print jobs should be automatically pulled from a folder using an auxiliary program (i.e. PDFs are stored in a folder, Foldermill checks the folder and sends new documents to the printer).
So no problem with a PC, how can I save the PDFs of the second PC in a specific folder so that I can print?
You don't need Wi-Fi to set up a network. This is also possible with cables. And the printer is set up as a network printer.
Thank you. Say: connect via network cable, right?
If the printer itself is Wi-Fi-compatible, you can simply establish a direct WLAN connection from the laptop to the printer. This can be done without going through a router.
