Jack headset notebook?

We have notebooks that only have a headphone jack. If someone is called via the "SwyxIT" client, you can't set this so that you can hear the audio from the notebook and as soon as you pick up you can make normal calls using the headset.

With the USB headsets, you could select this as normal in the settings, but those with a jack are somehow connected to the speakers on the notebook.

Da

Yes of course: -D they belong there too

Da

What headsets are they exactly?

Cl

Yes is only stupid, if someone calls I hear it on the headsets and not on the speakers from the notebook, so that you can set it almost separately, but it is not because they are together -.

Da

(had 3 call centers himself and know the fumbling with the VoIp clients etc:-))

Yes, if you have inserted something via the jack, this will usually become your output device. You can set which output device to use in the Windows 10 audio settings.

Da

So you have a long mini jack where out and input are together?

then this is the solution:

ne separated but use an adapter because the notebooks only have one connection

Cl

Mh yes but then I only hear through the notebook? I want to be able to hear on the notebook when I get a call and if I assume that I can talk to the headset, you could normally set that in the SwyxIT Client for ringtones, i.e. The USB headsets, but here the speakers and headset are together you can't choose that separately.

Da

Ahh notebooks that was the magic word

wo

You should actually be able to select devices connected with a jack in your client.

Da

And in the sound card of the notebook you can split the signal where what should go
