So hi
I have to do a Powerpoint for school, on my apple laptop because I can't get anywhere else.
Can you use it without paying a lot of money directly?
or is there something for Apple?
As far as I know there's a free version on the online site of PowerPoint, which means you create your presentation online on yours site and save it there as well.
Search for "KeyNote" in the AppStore.
Like PowerPoint, it's just free and for Apple users.
Otherwise you can simply install PowerPoint in the AppStore, and I think you can use a few basic features.
Or you go to drive.google.com and create a presentation for yourself in the Drive folder with a Google account. This is then completely free and everything in the browser.
Microsoft Office is also available for Mac, but costs.
With Mac OS, the Keynote program is also included for free. This is a good Powerpoint equivalent from Apple.

You can download PowerPoint for free via the link and "test" it for 30 days
Hi! You can also create a presentation on "Keynote" (Powerpoint from Apple, so to speak) and when it is finished, export it to a PowerPoint presentation. Then you can open the presentation on either a Mac or a computer with Windows (etc.). If you left the presentation in Keynote format, you would not be able to open it with Windows because Keynote is not supported by Windows.
Long story short:
Keynote Presentation> File> Export> PowerPoint> Save
Yes, "something like that" is available for the Mac and iPad OS. It's called a keynote. Apple uses it to create its presentations at the events of the same name. It's even free.
Furthermore, all of the free office suites I know contain presentation software, which is, however, much more difficult to use.
